Joanna Barker Appointed as Head of Customer Success, APAC at Ivo

Ivo has appointed Joanna Barker as Head of Customer Success, APAC. Barker joins from KPMG Australia, where they most recently served as Chief Operating Officer, and brings more than 15 years of professional experience to the role.

Career Highlights

According to Crustdata people data, Barker's career began in 2007 and spans consulting, operations and executive leadership. Before stepping into the Chief Operating Officer role at KPMG Australia in 2025, Barker built a run of leadership roles at PaidRight from 2021, advancing from Head of Operations to Head of Customer Operations. During the same period, Barker served as a Fellow at Startmate.

Earlier, Barker was promoted from Manager to Senior Manager at PwC Australia, following roles as Senior Consultant at The Strategy Group and Manager at Simmons & Simmons. Barker's credentials include a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The Australian National University and the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ivo's customer success team now numbers 11 people and has welcomed 9 new members over the past 12 months, including a Head of Account Management who started in June 2026. Based in the Greater Sydney Area, Barker starts in November 2026.
